It is a well-managed, export-oriented company, producing mainly sea bass and sea bream for the Greek, Italian, Spanish, British and other markets. Andromeda places special emphasis on fry production, where it has become a steady supplier of a large number of smaller fish farms and a field in which it is performing pioneering research resulting in a program of “genetic selection” aiming at revolutionizing the industry’s existing production parameters. Since 2006, the company has gained significant market share by growing both organically and through acquisitions.
